Backend Developer

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Backend Node.js Developer to join our client’s backend engineering team. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs that power dynamic web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for someone who writes clean, modular code and thrives in performance-focused, cloud-based environments.

You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver features quickly and efficiently while maintaining code quality and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using Node.js and
• Express.js (or similar frameworks).
• Architect scalable microservices and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define and integrate APIs.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend applications.
• Manage databases, caching layers, queues, and cloud services as needed.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high code quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Maintain documentation for backend processes, systems, and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in backend development.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of Express.js, NestJS, or other Node frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, or other relational/noSQL
