Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with REST APIs defined using OpenAPI standards and collaborating in an agile product team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and performance issues

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger for API documentation
• Understanding of backend architecture and best coding practices
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
