Backend Developer (Python)

More Retail is accelerating its omni-channel journey — blending a strong physical store network with a rapidly expanding digital platform. To support this growth, we’re looking for a Backend Developer (Python) to help build reliable, high-performance systems that serve millions of customers.

What You’ll Work On:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
• Build and maintain APIs powering web and mobile applications
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security
• Work with databases, caching layers, and distributed systems
• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Data teams

Eligibility & Skills

• BE/B.Tech / BSc / BCA or equivalent
• 1–2 years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in Python 3 (Pandas, NumPy, Django, FastAPI)
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of OOP principles
• Knowledge of unit testing
• Beginner-level exposure to AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue)
• Good communication skills

Good to Have

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Understanding of scalable microservice architecture
• Willingness to learn new technologies
