Role Overview:

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services. The role involves building secure and efficient server-side applications, designing and managing databases, and developing well-structured APIs. You will be responsible for ensuring system performance, reliability, scalability, and data integrity while supporting product requirements through robust backend architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Scalable Backend Systems: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in Node.js to build and maintain backend applications.
• API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and optimize RESTful APIs and WebSockets for seamless frontend and third-party integrations.
• Database Design & Management: Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, developing optimized database schemas and ensuring data integrity.
• AWS Cloud Deployment: Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Containerization & CI/CD: Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and automation processes.
• Security & Authentication: Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve backend performance, debugging issues and optimizing database queries.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the frontend team, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless product experiences.
• Documentation & Testing: Write clear documentation and create automated tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks to ensure system reliability.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js.
• Database Expertise: Proficiency in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, with experience in schema design and optimization.
• API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL (optional).
• AWS Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Containerization & CI/CD: Experience working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Authentication & Security: Knowledge of authentication protocols such as JWT, OAuth, and best security practices.
• calability & Performance: Experience in optimizing server-side performance and handling high-load applications.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Python or PHP is a plus.
