Software Engineer

Job Purpose/Summary

To design, develop, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications using ASP.NET MVC, .NET CORE with MCV, C#, .NET Framework/Core, and SQL Server. The role requires strong analytical capability, good coding practices, and the ability to understand manufacturing domain requirements to deliver high-quality, reliable MES solutions.

Key Responsibilities

üDevelop and maintain MES application modules using ASP.NET MVC, .NET CORE with MVC, C#, and .NET Framework / .NET Core.

üWrite efficient and scalable SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in SQL Server.

üTranslate functional requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code.

üParticipate in unit testing, debugging, and bug fixing to ensure application stability.

üCollaborate with functional consultants to understand manufacturing workflows and integrate business logic.

üSupport integration with external systems, interfaces, and APIs.

üFollow coding standards, project processes, and version control practices (Git/TFS).

üParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

üProvide technical support during QA, UAT, and production releases.

üContinuously learn MES concepts, development tools, and best practices.

üKnowledge in AJAX, Telerik Kendo UI technologies, Angular, Web API

üKnowledge of application design using design patterns

üKnowledge of Ionic and Flutter

üKnowledge on Bootstrap, CSS and Responsive web application development

Qualification

Education

üBE/BTech in Computer Engineering / IT, MCA, ME (Computer/IT) or equivalent.

üStrong academic foundation in object-oriented programming and databases.

Functional Skills/Competencies

üStrong programming skills in C# with good understanding of OOP concepts.

üPractical experience or academic knowledge of ASP.NET MVC development.

üGood understanding of .NET Framework / .NET Core.

ÜStrong Skills In SQL Server Including

• Queries
• Joins
• Stored procedures
• Indexing

üUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (added advantage).

üFamiliarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.

üAbility to debug issues and use tools like Postman, SQL Profiler, and Visual Studio.
