Back End Developer

Role - Backend Developer (TypeScript / Node.js / Next.js)

Location - Gothenburg, Sweden

Engagement: Full‑time

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js to join our engineering team. If you are passionate about building scalable backend systems, performant APIs, and modern server-driven applications, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize backend services using TypeScript and Node.js
• Build and maintain scalable API endpoints and backend logic using Next.js (API Routes)
• Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
• Ensure high performance, security, stability, and code quality
• Participate in design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in:
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• Next.js (server-side & API)
• Experience with REST APIs and authentication/authorization
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills

Nice‑to‑Have

• C# / .NET
• NX monorepos
• Azure DevOps
• Testing frameworks (Mocha / Chai)
