Job Description: Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role is primarily focused on .NET-based architecture and APIs, with some exposure to Python for integrations, automation, or AI-driven components.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Work on database design, optimization, and performance tuning (MS SQL preferred)
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
• Integrate with Python-based services/modules (for data processing, automation, or AI workflows)
• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (primary requirement)
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, OOP, and design patterns
• Experience with REST API development and microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MS SQL preferred)
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Python Exposure (Secondary Skill)

• Basic to working knowledge of Python
• Ability to understand or contribute to:
• Data processing scripts
• API integrations
• AI/LLM-based modules (good to have, not mandatory)

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure
• Exposure to Docker
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with message queues 
• Any exposure to AI/ML or LLM integrations
