About the Role

As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with product teams, business stakeholders, and end users to deeply understand problems and solve them with strong engineering fundamentals.

This role requires ownership across the entire lifecycle—from problem discovery to building, deploying, and iterating solutions in real-world environments.

You are not just writing code—you are shaping products, influencing decisions, and solving meaningful problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Solve Problems with Engineering Rigor

• Break down complex problems into scalable and well-designed solutions
• Make informed technology choices based on first-principles thinking
• Design systems considering data models, scalability, and failure scenarios
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Own the End-to-End Lifecycle

• Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor systems
• Take responsibility until the user problem is fully solved
• Continuously iterate based on feedback and real-world usage

Stay Curious & Drive Innovation

• Explore new technologies, frameworks, and paradigms
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Introduce and drive adoption of impactful technologies

Understand Users Deeply

• Engage directly with end users and understand their workflows
• Collaborate closely with product and business teams
• Challenge assumptions and clarify problem statements before building

Lead Without Authority

• Contribute ideas and influence technical decisions
• Participate in healthy debates and challenge perspectives

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience building real-world software products
• Strong understanding of system design across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Experience with multiple databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ability to choose the right tool
• Ability to work across different languages and frameworks
• Experience building solutions from scratch (0 → 1)

Tech Exposure (good to have):

Java, Kotlin, React, React Native, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, ClickHouse, or similar technologies
