This opportunity is with a leading financial services client, where you'll design and operate secure Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms supporting mission-critical cloud-native and AI-driven applications.

If you're passionate about Kubernetes, Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering at enterprise scale, this role offers the opportunity to build highly secure, resilient, and production-grade cloud platforms.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including private networking, node pools, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning, and high availability.
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools, incorporating automated testing, image scanning, release controls, and production deployment best practices.
• Implement secure identity, secrets management, and access controls using Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, Workload Identity, RBAC, and least-privilege principles.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code for multi-environment deployments while maintaining scalable, repeatable, and compliant cloud infrastructure.
• Establish Kubernetes security, monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response standards using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Container Insights, and related tooling.
• Collaborate with platform, application, DevOps, AI/ML, and client engineering teams to support production workloads, troubleshoot issues, optimize platform performance, and drive architectural improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, with strong production experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, cluster operations, networking, autoscaling, RBAC, workload management, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including AKS, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, Private Endpoints, Azure Monitor, and related cloud services.
• Extensive experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state management, and multi-environment deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, observability, automation, and enterprise infrastructure best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
