AVP/ Investment APM - Portfolio Quality Analyst

Team Lead

The team lead position will oversee the growth and impact of the team and will be proactive in identifying process improvement opportunities. This individual must show leadership abilities partnered with the investment and technical understanding needed to provide new solutions or reengineer an existing process. They will interact with the Heads of our Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset PMG teams to provide solutions to the needs in each business. This player-coach will be a key partner to the APM group in a player-coach role managing Pune team capacity and supporting workload growth.

• Overseeing process documentation and knowledge sharing activities, collaborating with global APM teams
• Recruit, train, and develop talent in new team members, and support with career pathing
• Drive process improvement efforts, identifying ways to automate or increase the efficiency of existing functions
• Develop, maintain, and deliver ongoing KPIs to the PMG leadership group
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Candidates should possess exceptional attention to detail, the ability to think logically and make sound decisions quickly, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Specific qualifications include:

• Experience with fixed income investments and portfolio management concepts
• A master's degree with two to five years of relevant industry experience
• A motivated self-starter with a passion for process improvement and using technology to solve complex problems
• Strong interest and experience in financial markets, especially asset management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills and a strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Deep understanding of risk management and the overall control environment
• Strong soft skills such as adaptability and creativity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to coding is a plus; SQL, Python
• AI tool experience and practical application capability
• Preferred for Team Lead – Experience managing a team of 3 or more,
