About the Company
We are seeking an accomplished AVP – Executive Search (Leadership Hiring) to lead our leadership and CXO level hiring practice. The role will focus on driving executive mandates across industries, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and being responsible to drive a scalable and sustainable revenue target annually. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in leadership search, exceptional business development acumen, and proven ability to deliver outcomes that influence organizational success.

Responsibilities
- Executive Search & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end CXO and leadership hiring across industries and functions (CEO, CFO, CHRO, CTO, etc.).
- Build and maintain succession pipelines and executive talent communities.
- Drive assessments, market mapping, and reference validation at senior levels.
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Own the assigned revenue target through executive search mandates.
- Expand client portfolio by identifying opportunities in new sectors and leadership hiring verticals.
- Convert successful mandates into long-term client partnerships.
- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to Boards, Founders, and Promoters on leadership talent decisions.
- Handle complex and sensitive negotiations with confidentiality and integrity.
- Provide clients with market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent insights.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants and researchers to deliver on leadership mandates.
- Build a high-performance culture with focus on delivery excellence and revenue outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Marketing, Analytics) to support delivery.
- Strategic Impact
- Strengthen Taggd’s positioning as a preferred leadership hiring partner.
- Drive EVP and employer branding initiatives for senior mandates.
- Provide business leaders with insights on talent strategy, succession, and workforce trends.
Qualifications
- Full-time master’s degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in leadership assessment or executive coaching will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Business Acumen: Ability to link leadership hiring to client’s strategic goals and P&L impact.
- Relationship Building: Strong credibility and trust-building with promoters, boards, and CXOs.
- Revenue Orientation: Proven capability to achieve and exceed multi-crore revenue targets.
- Strategic Thinking: Long-term perspective on talent markets, succession planning, and EVP.
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and build high-performing teams.
Pay range and compensation package
15+ years of proven experience in Executive Search / Leadership Hiring. Strong track record of closing CXO and senior leadership roles across industries. Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver multi-crore revenue targets. Deep relationships with industry leaders, promoters, and CXOs. Experience in consulting-driven talent advisory is preferred.
