Job Description – AV Engineer

Position: AV Engineer

Department: Technical / Service

Location: Delhi NCR- North India

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated AV Engineer responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of Audio-Visual systems, projectors, routers, switches, and related networking equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to projectors, display systems, and AV controllers.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers and switches.
• Handle preventive maintenance and breakdown support for AV systems.
• Support onsite and remote technical troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with clients for installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain service reports and documentation after every service visit.
• Ensure proper cable management and system connectivity.
• Provide technical support during meetings, presentations, and events if required.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper handling of tools and spare parts.
• Follow company safety and operational guidelines during onsite work.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and projector troubleshooting.
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (Router & Switch configuration).
• Understanding of HDMI, VGA, LAN, Audio, and control system connectivity.
• Ability to identify hardware and connectivity issues.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel for onsite support.

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.Tech / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, Networking, or related field.
• Experience
• 1 to 5 years of experience in AV installation, projector support, or networking support preferred.
• Preferred Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols and IP configuration.
• Experience in corporate, hospital, auditorium, or control room AV setup is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for onsite service support.
• Flexible for emergency or weekend support if required.
