We are seeking an Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining automation test scripts for multiple projects. Prior knowledge of automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium or a comparable tool is a must. This role involves executing regular automation test runs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and identifying and reporting issues to ensure the overall quality and stability of our platforms.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain automation test scripts using Cucumber with Ruby for various projects.
Execute weekly automation test runs across multiple projects and generate detailed reports.
Ensure adequate test coverage across key projects across multiple verticals – SAAS, white label etc.
Identify, analyze, and report test failures or issues, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements and deliverables.
Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automation processes.
Document and maintain test cases, test results, and related test artifacts.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or relevant certification course)

Skills

Strong knowledge of an automation tool such as Cucumber or Selenium
Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
Understanding of Agile – Scrum development process
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
Understanding of different mobile platforms (iOS & Android) and device ecosystems

Ability

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
