Role Description The AutoCAD Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The individual in this position will prepare and revise technical drawings, shop drawings, and architectural layouts related to water treatment and wastewater systems using AutoCAD and other drafting tools. Daily responsibilities include interpreting engineering and architectural specifications, creating detailed plans and sections, coordinating with project engineers and site teams, and ensuring drawings comply with project standards and regulatory requirements. The AutoCAD Drafter will maintain organized drawing records, support design revisions throughout the project lifecycle, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawing packages.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess the ability to create precise Shop Drawings aligned with project and fabrication requirements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Architectural Drawings and a solid understanding of Architecture fundamentals relevant to industrial and utility facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and familiarity with other CAD or BIM tools as needed.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience drafting for water treatment, wastewater, industrial, or utility projects is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and site teams on-site.
