Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and validations for new assembly lines.
Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and POKA-YOKE (error-proofing) solutions.
Oversee installation and commissioning of assembly lines and machinery.
Lead vendor selection and onboarding for SPMs and fixtures.
Prepare and maintain ISO process documentation (PFC, PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions).
Perform stopwatch studies, capacity analysis, and lead cycle time reduction projects.
Design and optimize assembly and plant layouts for new projects.
Develop and improve packaging for new and existing products.
Digitalize and automate manual processes for greater efficiency.
Plan and execute continuous improvement projects, guiding teams toward best practices.
Train and mentor associates and supervisors on process standards.
Identify and implement low-cost savings opportunities.

Skills Preferred

Proven experience in process engineering, assembly line operations, or manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization and automation.
Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
Familiarity with packaging design and improvement is a plus.
