Associate Python Engineer

Techolution is looking for an Associate Python Engineer to build and support scalable backend services for AI-enabled applications. In this role, you will work on microservices-based systems deployed on Azure, develop reliable APIs, and support backend workflows that integrate with AI/ML components.

You will collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, DevOps, and product teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable backend solutions. We are looking for someone who has prior hands-on experience with AI projects and understands how backend systems support model integration, inference, and data flows.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift: 2-11PM

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services
• Build and evolve microservices architectures that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable
• Develop and consume REST APIs with clear contracts and best practices
• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) for efficient data modeling and performance
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerized deployments (Docker) and cloud environments
• Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Monitor services, debug production issues, and ensure system reliability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts
• Understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
• Basic exposure to cloud platforms (GCP)

Negotiable Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, or app services
• Prior experience working on AI projects — either: Building AI-based applications, or Integrating backend systems with AI/ML models, or Supporting AI workflows (model inference, APIs, data pipelines)
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of Git and version control

Qualification/ Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
