Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all civil engineering aspects of power plant projects, including planning, design review, execution, and commissioning.
Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring civil works align with overall project timelines and milestones.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
Implement and monitor construction methods, materials, and workmanship to meet Adani’s high standards for safety, durability, and sustainability.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess progress, quality control, and safety adherence, promptly addressing any deviations or issues.
Manage project budgets related to civil works, optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs without compromising quality.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, procurement, and environment departments.
Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable construction practices to minimize environmental impact.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for senior management, regulatory bodies, and clients reflecting project status and civil engineering insights.
Drive process improvements by incorporating industry best practices, new technologies, and lessons learned from previous projects.
Champion Adani’s values by fostering an inclusive and ethical work environment, upholding safety as a paramount priority.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is advantageous.
