Opportunity Type: Remote

Placement Type: Full time Permanent Position

(*Note: This is a requirement for one of Uplers' client - Trumio)

What do you need for this opportunity?

Must have skills required:

  • NET, Java, Python, Spring Boot, React.js, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, API Testing, CI - CD

Trumio is Looking for:

Are you a software engineer who enjoys mentoring, reviewing code, and helping teams improve their technical thinking more than just writing code yourself?

We're hiring a Technical Program Analyst for Trumio to work closely with SaaS client teams, providing deep technical evaluation, evidence-backed feedback, and mentorship.

This role may not be for everyone – but if you’re excited by mentoring, decision-making, and influencing how others grow, you’ll thrive here.

As a Technical Project Trainer, you will be the primary technical guide for a cohort of software engineers.

Your mission is to ensure that every participant doesn’t just complete a project, but masters the engineering best practices required to deliver it at an industry standard.

🔹 Who Should Apply

We are looking for technologists who find as much joy in explaining a complex system as they do in building one. You should have a deep background in:

  • Backend: Java / Spring Boot, .NET / C#, or Python.
  • Frontend: React / Angular / TypeScript.
  • Infrastructure: SQL, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • The "Mentor" Factor: You have a history of leading squads, conducting deep-dive code reviews, or onboarding junior talent into complex codebases.

🔹 What You’ll Do

  • Technical Coaching: Lead hands-on "office hours," architectural deep-dives, and debugging sessions to help engineers overcome technical blockers.
  • Project Mentorship: Guide cohorts through the end-to-end SDLC of real-world projects, ensuring they follow clean code principles and scalable design patterns.
  • Code & Architecture Reviews: Conduct rigorous reviews of PRs (Pull Requests) and system designs, providing actionable feedback to elevate the quality of work.
  • Facilitate Technical Rituals: Run technical standups, "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) sessions on specific tech stacks, and project post-mortems.
  • Bridge the Gap: Work closely with SMEs and Product teams to refine project requirements and translate them into teachable engineering milestones.
  • Skill Assessment: Evaluate participant competency through project outcomes, identifying technical gaps and providing personalized coaching to close them.

🔹 Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT (strongly preferred).
  • Preferred Engineering Depth: Minimum 3 Years experience in Hands-on, professional experience in Full-Stack development (Java, .NET, or Python + Modern Frontend Frameworks, AWS, Azure, DevOps).
  • Pedagogical Instinct: The ability to break down complex architectural concepts into digestible, actionable steps for learners.
  • Tooling Mastery: High proficiency with GitHub (branching strategies, PR workflows), Jira, and modern IDEs.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and empathetically.
  • Ownership: A mindset focused on "learner success"—you take pride when your cohort delivers high-quality, production-ready code.

Why Trumio?

  • At Trumio, this role is designed for engineers who want impact, learning, and autonomy:
  • No micromanagement – you own outcomes, not tickets
  • Flexible working hours – delivery first, time next
  • Remote-first culture with global exposure (US & UK leadership)
  • High-trust environment – judgment and thinking matter more than hierarchy
  • Steep learning curve – work across mentoring, evaluation, architecture reviews, and delivery
  • Startup ownership – help shape processes, approach, and culture, not just follow them
