Provides analytical, portfolio management, underwriting and compliance management support within the Structured Working Capital Finance team of Global Advisory

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working directly with the Team Leader, Commercial Relationship Management, and Regional Credit Officer. Present timely and complete underwriting analysis that demonstrates a clear understanding of the borrower, industry, requested structure, transaction rationale, risks and mitigants.
• Manages delinquencies, portfolio reviews, specialized reporting, soft exposure annual reviews, criticized loans, etc.
• Support the credit underwriting, administration, and expansion of credit relationships (Trade, Insured, and SCF) for the department- including the administration of funding requests. Ability to effectively review funding requests and efficiently respond to client needs.
• Participate in the credit structuring and deal planning process for existing and prospective customers, balancing revenue growth and risk, and serving as liaison between the Senior PM, RM team and Credit Administration. Maintains a highly credible relationship between portfolio management and HNB's credit approval authorities. Establishes or works with management to develop effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years Commercial underwriting experience
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in underwriting insurance companies or corporate credits, particularly Mid to Large Corporates.
• 1-3 years of experience with Supply Chain Finance products.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

Compensation Range

$70,000.00 - 140,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
