Job Description

Key Objectives of the Job


  • Drive innovation, quality, and contextual relevance across Arpan’s content and curriculum.
  • Define and lead the vision, roadmap, and implementation of Arpan’s content & curriculum’s initiatives to scale impact.
  • Guide the creation, curation, and dissemination of knowledge by synthesizing insights from Arpan’s field data, evaluations, and global developments.


Major Deliverables


Content Strategy and Development:

  • Lead the creation and curation of high-quality content across formats for diverse stakeholder groups including children, parents, teachers, and professionals.
  • Align content with defined learning outcomes and CSA prevention/intervention goals.
  • Innovate across formats, including print, video, eLearning, gamified tools, and microlearning.
  • Establish robust content creation, review, and quality assurance systems.


Pedagogical Excellence:

  • Design pedagogical frameworks rooted in age-appropriate, inclusive, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Champion experiential learning tailored to different stakeholder needs.


Curriculum Design and Research

  • Lead the development and periodic update of Arpan’s curriculum using internal insights and global best practices.
  • Integrate SEL (Social-Emotional Learning), DEI into Arpan’s learning modules.


Stakeholder Engagement and Representation:

  • Represent Arpan in state, national, and international forums to advocate for CSA prevention education and showcase content leadership.
  • Build strategic partnerships with academic, educational and digital stakeholders.


Team and Knowledge Management:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of content, curriculum, and translation professionals.
  • Build a knowledge repository and document processes for continuity and scale.
  • Foster a learning-oriented, process-driven and collaborative team culture.


Job Challenge

As Arpan evolves from a practitioner organization to a national and global thought leader in

CSA prevention and intervention, this role offers a unique opportunity to innovate its

offerings (existing and new) and strengthen its position as a resource agency and think tank.


Specialized Job Competencies


  • Expertise in Gender based Violence and Child Protection.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, and product design and scale.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of technology-enabled learning and child protection frameworks.


Educational Qualification


  • Post Graduate Degree in Sociology, Social Work / Science / Education / Psychology or related fields.


8. Desired Work Experience


  • Minimum 15 years of total work experience.
  • Currently in a leadership role in child rights/child protection, at national/international
  • NGOs, research institutions, or education boards.
  • Proven success in leading content and pedagogy with measurable program impact across geographies.

  • Deep understanding of Child Rights, Human Rights, Child Protection, J. J. Act
  • Strong articulation and analytical skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to deploy transformative changes in collaboration with

Location Mumbai


Salary Range : Annual CTC 23 lakhs plus reimbursements
