Role/Job Title: Associate Credit Analyst

Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Risk

Job Purpose:

The role holder shall make credit appraisal of corporate borrowers from asset lending perspective and recommend new as well as existing relationships for approval. Role shall also involve portfolio monitoring interacting and coordinating with the business units, Internal stakeholders (legal/compliance/trade/internal audit/product team) and external Stakeholders (Banks / Rating Agencies) for existing and prospective relationships. Keeping the unit abreast of the current industry updates, Peer group update and competition updates

Roles & Responsibilities:

'-Appraise and evaluate clients' creditworthiness for onboarding asset relationship in accordance with bank policies and regulatory framework

• Review, recommend or reject loan requests, based on credibility and potential revenues and losses
• Negotiate loan terms with borrowers to mitigate credit risk
• Ensure credit policies and risk appetite criteria are adhered regularly,
• Analysis of supply chain finance portfolio and ensuring portfolio monitoring, trigger reviews & delinquency control
• Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team
  
  

Secondary Responsibilities:

'- Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the supply chain financing business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service

• Participate in overall portfolio monitoring exercise at Wholesale Banking level
• Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications:

Graduate - Any

Post Graduate - Any - MBA/ PGDM/ MMS/ MSc./ M.Com or related degrees(Graduates can also apply if they have relevant certification/ experience in the domain)

Years of Experience: 3 years + of experience (Experience can be less basis merit and relevant experience)
