Position: Assistant Manager - Career Consultant

Location: Kochi

Experience: 1–2 Years

Industry Preference: Education / Training / EdTech (Mandatory)


Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales / Career Consultant to counsel students, drive enrollments, and support sales operations in the education domain. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales acumen, and prior experience in the education industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Counsel students and parents on career options, courses, and programs
  • Convert walk-ins, leads, and inquiries into successful enrollments
  • Handle end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets consistently
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
  • Coordinate with internal teams for admissions, documentation, and onboarding
  • Participate in marketing activities, seminars, and promotional events
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners
  • Support junior counselors and assist in daily sales operations


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in education industry sales / career counseling
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
  • Target-driven mindset with the ability to close leads effectively
  • Good understanding of career guidance and education programs
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment


Preferred Skills
  • Experience in EdTech, training institutes, or colleges
  • Exposure to B2C sales or student counseling
  • Leadership potential to grow into a managerial role
