Role Description

YIT is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in the fields of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML), or Data Science. In this full-time, on-site role located in Moodabidri, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to curriculum development. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, publishing research papers, and collaborating with colleagues on institutional projects to elevate the academic standards of the institute.

Qualifications

• Master’s (M.Tech) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in CSE, ECE, AI&ML, or Data Science. Please note that candidates with only MCA qualifications will not be considered.
• Strong foundational knowledge in relevant domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Networks, or Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in teaching and research with effective classroom and laboratory management skills.
• Capability in curriculum design, academic planning, and utilization of modern teaching methodologies.
• Track record of publishing research in reputed journals and participation in academic conferences.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills aimed at fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Familiarity with current trends and advancements in technology and the ability to integrate them into teaching and research activities.
• Prior teaching or industry experience would be an added advantage.
