Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and result-oriented Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition professional with strong experience in hiring across technology and non-technology functions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple business stakeholders, delivering quality hires within defined timelines, and driving an exceptional candidate experience.
The role requires expertise in recruiting for diverse functions including Technology, Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Content, Delivery, HR, and Corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring plans, business priorities, and workforce requirements.
- Hire across multiple Technical. Non-Technical & business functions
- Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, employee referrals, social media, recruitment agencies, job portals, and networking.
- Build strong talent pipelines for niche and business-critical roles.
- Conduct recruiter screening interviews to assess technical fit, behavioral competencies, cultural alignment, and candidate motivation.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure a seamless hiring experience for candidates and interview panels.
- Negotiate compensation, manage offer rollouts, and drive offer-to-join conversions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners.
- Track recruitment metrics including Time-to-Hire, Time-to-Fill, Source Effectiveness, Offer Acceptance Ratio, and Joining Ratio.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with organizational policies and best practices.
- Continuously improve hiring quality, employer branding, and recruitment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of Talent Acquisition experience with exposure to both technical and non-technical hiring.
- Strong experience hiring for technology and engineering positions such as:Software Engineers/Full Stack Developers/Backend & Frontend Engineers/QA Engineers/DevOps Engineers/Cloud Engineers/Data Engineers/AI/ML Engineers/Product Managers/UI/UX Designers
- Strong experience hiring for business functions including: Sales/Marketing/Finance/Operations/HR/Customer Success/Delivery/Content/Learning & Academic Operations
- Excellent understanding of technical skills, hiring terminology, and technology stacks.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri Recruiter, job portals, ATS platforms, and sourcing tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Excellent interviewing, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously while maintaining hiring quality.
- Experience working in fast-paced startups, EdTech, Internet, SaaS, Product, IT Services, Consulting, or Digital businesses is highly preferred.
