Summary Of The Role
We are looking for a seasoned merchandising professional to drive end-to-end merchandising and buying excellence across our Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) network for the North region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the commercial health of stores by leading pre-season planning, in-season performance management, and post-season sell-through strategies. You will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and a large network of franchise partners to ensure the right product, in the right place, at the right time. About The Role
- Lead regional merchandising and buying strategy for Levi’s Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) across the North region, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand priorities.
- Drive pre-season planning by defining product articulation, identifying growth drivers, and aligning OTB (Open-to-Buy) across regions, stores, and categories.
- Ensure accurate and strategic buying by franchise partners through detailed order reviews and alignment with planned product priorities.
- Build strong product assortments at store level based on category/sub-category priorities and expected growth trends.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Training) to align and execute key brand stories in-store.
- Manage in-season inventory through stock optimization, transfers, and replenishment planning to drive sales and minimize stock gaps.
- Track store performance through regular sales and inventory analysis, driving corrective actions to improve sell-through and full-price sales.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and seasonal product performance reviews, leveraging data and insights to influence decisions.
- Identify product gaps and business opportunities through market insights and store visits across the North region.
- Enable franchisee success by strengthening capabilities through buyer meets, training sessions, and ongoing collaboration.
- Drive post-season strategies including end-of-season sale (EOSS) planning to maximize sell-out and inventory liquidation.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Retail Sales, Planning, Brand Merchandising, Commercial Finance, Customer Service, and Data/Analytics teams.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including franchise buying teams, operations teams, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of merchandising initiatives.
About You –
- Experience & Background: 5–8 years of experience in retail merchandising, buying, or planning; preferably within apparel or fashion retail.
- Merchandising & Planning Expertise: Strong understanding of OTB planning, assortment building, and end-to-end merchandising lifecycle (pre-season, in-season, post-season).
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to interpret sales and inventory data, generate insights, and drive actionable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage franchise partner relationships effectively.
- Execution Excellence: Strong process orientation with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
- Customer & Market Orientation: Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and store-level dynamics.
