Job Description – Project Manager (Investment Banking | Capital Markets | Regulatory Reporting)

Experience: 5–9 Years

About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager with strong experience in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets domain to lead strategic transformation and technology initiatives for global clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects across Front Office, Middle Office, and Regulatory Reporting functions while working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of business and technology transformation projects within the Investment Banking and Capital Markets domain.
• Lead projects across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk/Compliance and Regulatory Reporting functions, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Define project plans, milestones, governance frameworks, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Drive project governance through regular status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and organizational governance.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–9 years of experience in Project Management, with significant exposure to Investment Banking and Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of Capital markets products, Compliance, Risk and Regulations.
• Hands-on experience managing projects across:
• Front Office
• Middle Office
• Regulatory Reporting
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks, including:
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
• Waterfall
• Hybrid Project Management
• Risk and Issue Management
• Change Management
• Project Planning and Scheduling
• Resource and Budget Management
  
  
  

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders and drive consensus across business and technology teams.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

Additional certifications such as PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist are an added advantage.
