The role is for Infrastructure and Climate Advisory team ( Deal Advisory, KPMG). The individual is going to work closely with Commercial Advisory and Transactions service line within our team wherein they will be working across entire lifecycle of infrastructure on projects spanning Project Development, Capital Advisory and Deals & Transactions. Our team is at the forefront of delivery, and requires the candiate to develop strong technical and presentational skills couple with sound commercial understanding of the sector and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering end-to-end infrastructure modelling and valuation engagements across sectors such as power & utilities, transportation & social infrastructure
• Understanding the delivery models applied to the infrastructure projects across different stages of lifecycle - construction, operations, financing & refinancing phases
• Development and evaluation of quantitative financial models for M&A, project finance, capital raise, feasibility study, valuation etc.; valuation reports, investment memoranda and related decks to present findings and recommendations to senior management and client team
• Driving comprehensive market studies to understand industry dynamics and benchmarks, competitor landscape, and relevant regulatory frameworks that may impact project outputs
• Manage the project risks, in accordance with KPMG risk management guidelines
• Train and mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall skills enhancement and experience of the team

• MBA / PGDBM / CFA/CA/Engineers
  
  
  

Experience

Relevant experience (5-7 years) gained in either Infrastructure Project Valuation, Business Valuation, Project Finance, Regulatory Finance, PPP, Corporate roles, M&A, Debt Syndication, Fund-raising, Infra SPV’s or similar deal experience in the relevant sector/ propositions (as applicable)
