Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible person to lead instrumentation and automation activities in plant ensuring that the services are provided in efficient manner within given time frame to ensure smooth operation of plant in safe and reliable manner.
• Calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all type of process instruments
• Selection of Pressure Transmitter , Level Transmitter ,Temperature transmitter flowmeter & Differential pressure transmitter based on the process requirement.
• Understanding and review of instruments drawing like P&ID, PFD, Cause and effect Diagram.
• Hands on experience in PLC / SCADA/ DCS preferred Allen Bradly
• Prepare and Review of Instrumentation MTO/BOQ
• Instrument and automation inventory management.
• Selection of flowmeter & Differential pressure transmitter.
• Specifications Prepare and Review of Control Valve and control valve sizing
• Prepare and Review Hook up & Loop Drawings
• Good knowledge of HART & Profibus Communications Protocols
• Involve in training the plant operator how to work in automation system.
• Prepare and maintain all the required documentation of the department like SOPs, work instructions, MOCs etc. for testing, calibration of different types of Instruments.
• Define, review and approve technical specifications of any new instrument/ PLC panel to be purchased
• Prepare and provide the cost estimation for any instrumentation & automation material for any plant related work & for projects
• Prepare and Review Instrument Cable and Tray Layout
• Should have basic knowledge and should be able to take care of the OT system of the plant and ensure its reliability and readiness for any non-interruptive operation of plant
• Should be able to access logic program and be able to make small modifications into it make Allen Bradly
• Prepare and maintain schedule for the timely testing and calibration of different types of Instruments
• Responsible for selection, installation and healthy operation of instruments in plant
• Establish and continue to maintain the documentation for Remote sites automation/OT
• Instrument list or I/O list
• System architecture drawing
• Control Narratives or Function specifications.
• Good Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and safety culture.
• Good knowledge of hazardous area classification.
  
  

Your Profile

• B.E/ B.Tech in Instrumentation/ Electronics and communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Overall 3-5 years’ experience In Inst . & Automation
• Experience of working in a FMCG or heavy manufacturing organization (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of production parameters and procedures and standards
• Impressive track record and experience within a similar position(s)
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, written orders, control gauges, manufacturer's operating instructions, and to record plant information
• Able to give remote support in case of urgency
• Have good knowledge of advanced technology available in market in terms of control system, smart instruments etc. and should ensure that the new installations in the plant are stateof-the-art type
