Job Description

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilites:

  • Play a key role in designing and implementing a structured liaisoning framework, and oversee the development, execution, and assessment of activities related to Government Affairs and various Ministries.
  • Represent matters concerning policy interpretation and clarification before relevant authorities—Central, State, and Independent bodies—while coordinating with business teams and consultants to resolve group-level issues.
  • Provide daily guidance and expert opinions, and develop strategies for handling cases or matters across different forums.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with government officials across departments, ministries, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor the evolving bureaucratic and political landscape and assess its potential implications for all Group companies.
  • Promote and sustain a positive image of the Group before Government Departments, Ministries, and Authorities.
  • Support business teams in developing procedural SOPs to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of future litigation.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of required approvals and permissions from relevant industry and government bodies, and manage follow-ups with concerned departments.

Qualifications

Should have minimum 14+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Affairs and Regulatory matters
