Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for procurement of consumables, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items, tools, and general engineering materials.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers for better cost efficiency and quality assurance.
Ensure timely availability of required consumables and MRO materials to avoid production downtime.
Float inquiries, prepare comparative statements, and finalize orders based on price, quality, and delivery.
Coordinate with user departments, stores, and accounts for material requirement, receipt, and payment follow-up.
Negotiate with suppliers for cost reduction, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier data in ERP system.
Conduct market analysis for price trends and alternate sourcing options.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
Support inventory control and participate in periodic stock verification.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidate should have experience in Solar Industry with exposure to purchasing the Consumable item
