Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Architect role based in Kolkata. The role involves designing building plans, creating detailed architectural drawings, and managing construction projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand their needs, ensuring project compliance with building codes and regulations, and coordinating with engineers and contractors to achieve design goals. The Architect will also oversee project timelines, budgets, and documentation to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural design tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and other 3D modeling software
• Strong technical knowledge of building codes, regulations, and drafting sanction drawings in OBPAS codes
• Experience in NKDA Building Designs, including cost estimation, timeline management, and team coordination
• Creative problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and attention to detail in design
• Effective communication and presentation skills for client and team interactions
• Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Architecture or a related field
• Professional certification or registration as an architect is preferred
• Relevant experience in designing residential, commercial, or public projects is a plus
