Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Assembly & Test Technician to build, align, and test our biomedical devices. This role involves assembling mechanical, electronic, and optical components and ensuring each unit meets performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble devices from subcomponents (mechanical, electronic, and optical parts)
- Perform basic wiring, connector assembly, and PCB handling
- Align optical components (camera, illumination, lenses) for optimal imaging performance
- Conduct functional testing and calibration using defined procedures
- Maintain production records (serial numbers, test results, calibration data)
- Identify defects, troubleshoot basic issues, and report to engineering team
- Ensure clean and organized workspace; follow ESD and safety practices
- Support continuous improvement of assembly processes and SOPs
Required Qualifications
Diploma (ITI / Polytechnic) in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field
OR B.Sc. in Physics / Electronics
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years in device assembly, electronics, or instrumentation
- Experience with small-scale or precision assembly
- Familiarity with optical systems (microscopes, cameras, or imaging devices) is a strong plus
Skills Required
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs and assembly instructions precisely
- Basic soldering and use of multimeter
- Comfortable working with small components and tools
- Basic understanding of quality control and testing

Compensation (Mumbai Market)
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (₹1.8 – ₹3.6 LPA), depending on experience and skill level
Higher end (₹25k–₹30k) for candidates with:
- Prior device assembly experience
- Optical alignment experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability
