Area Sales Manager – Enterprise Healthcare Sales
About the Role
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and customer success within our large enterprise healthcare accounts, including diagnostic chains, cath labs, and large hospital networks.
This role requires someone who can build strong customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and use data-driven insights to drive account growth. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, deeply understanding their challenges and positioning our solutions as the right fit.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise customers, including diagnostic chains, cath labs, and large hospitals.
- Become the champion for assigned key accounts, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and long-term engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key stakeholders within client organizations.
2) Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within the existing customer base.
- Own and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress toward revenue targets.
3) Customer Problem Solving
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and operational needs.
- Position yourself as a solution-oriented partner by aligning product capabilities with client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful solution implementation and adoption.
4) New Business Development
- Identify and onboard new enterprise customers by building a strong sales funnel within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Expand market presence by engaging with large hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare institutions.
5) Data-Driven Sales Management
- Monitor sales dashboards, account performance metrics, and pipeline data.
- Use insights from data to drive account strategies, prioritize opportunities, and improve performance.
6) Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, sharing feedback to improve product and service offerings.
7) Market Awareness
- Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, digital transformation, and competitive landscape.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities and strengthen client engagement.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical / Science / Engineering
- MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, healthcare technology, or enterprise sales.
- Proven experience in managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
Skills
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience working with sales dashboards and CRM tools
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles
Communication & Languages
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Kannada, English, and Hindi
Other Qualities
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and take initiative
- Comfortable with extensive travel as required by business needs
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Base location: Bangalore
Regions to cover: Karnataka, AP & Telangana.
