Role Description

The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhubaneswar. This role involves driving sales growth by managing a team of sales professionals, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, and executing tactical plans to achieve sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will oversee the implementation of marketing strategies, monitor market trends, and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Additional responsibilities include conducting market analysis, identifying opportunities, and providing regular performance reports to the leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Sales Management and Team Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Experience in relationship building with healthcare providers, clients, and distributors.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning expertise to identify opportunities and create actionable plans.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve sales objectives.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
