Role: Area Sales Manager for Delhi/ NCR
Experience:
Should have good experience in sales for any instrumentation or maintenance related industries.
Experience as a maintenance engineer in handling instrumentation calibration and repairs, would also be an added advantage
Key Accountabilities
- Visit target industries in the area to market the products of Metravi and meet sales targets.
- Build relations with the client organisation’s purchase as well as the technical teams.
- Work with the Head Office team to build customers for target industries.
- Understand the maintenance problems faced by the industry customers and prepare & propose solutions using Metravi instruments in consultation with the HO team.
- Provide support to the Metravi dealers in the area to generate sales
- Undertake required product demos & trouble shooting for customers
- Participate in industry exhibitions & events in the area along with team
- Keep a track and inform HO/team of competitor activities and develop a thorough understanding of their products
- Prepare monthly sales plans and forecasts and share with the HO
- Conduct and participate in regular sales reviews
- Prepare the tour plans in line with the monthly sales objectives and ensure adherence to the same
- Prepare assigned reports and presentations
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs and requirements
Key Skills required
- Understanding of instruments/maintenance for at least some industries
- Ability to build relationships and rapports
- Ability to generate relevant leads from target industries
- High degree of customer orientation
- Understanding of sales processes
