Role Description The Area Sales Manager – Corporate Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for acquiring and managing corporate clients, promoting insurance broking services, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include generating leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, understanding client requirements, and recommending suitable protection plans. The role involves negotiating terms, coordinating with internal underwriting and operations teams, and ensuring timely policy issuance and renewals. The Area Sales Manager will also monitor market trends, prepare sales reports, support customer retention initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate sales minimum of 5 years
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze client needs, interpret insurance products, and propose suitable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; local language proficiency is an advantage.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple corporate accounts.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital sales/communication platforms.
- Any relevant Graduation qualification.
- Prior experience in insurance broking or corporate risk solutions will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the Ahmedabad region and nearby areas for client meetings as required.
