Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Etawah UPW, India. The Area Collections Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end collections process within the assigned area, ensuring compliance with company policies and achieving collection targets. Responsibilities include leading a team of collection agents, analyzing collection trends, implementing recovery strategies, and mitigating risks. The role requires regularly liaising with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiating settlements, and maintaining excellent customer relationships while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operational skills, including experience in collections management, risk analysis, and recovery planning
• Leadership and team management capabilities, including oversight of on-ground collection agents and resource optimization
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for effective interaction with customers and stakeholders
• Knowledge of finance-related regulations and compliance in India, particularly in the rural and semi-urban financial sector
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to monitor and enhance collections performance
• Ability to work on-site in Etawah UPW india, and navigate rural and semi-urban landscapes effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus
• Prior experience in financial services, particularly in lending or collections, is highly desirable
