Applied Research Scientist

Applied Research Scientist to drive cutting-edge research and translate it into real-world, high-impact solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement novel algorithms and models to solve complex, real-world problems
• Work on applied research initiatives, turning theoretical ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions
• Participate in or lead competitive ML/AI challenges (e.g., Kaggle, benchmarks) to push model performance
• Conduct experiments, evaluate models, and iterate rapidly to improve outcomes
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy research into production systems
• Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and AI research
• Contribute to research publications, internal knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in applied machine learning / AI research
• Has participated in or ranked in competitive ML platforms (Kaggle, hackathons, benchmarks)
• Is proficient in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and data handling tools
• Has a solid foundation in statistics, optimization, and algorithm design
• Can bridge the gap between research and production (applied mindset)
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and experimental rigor

Preferred:

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or related field
• Experience deploying models into real-world applications at scale
• Publications, patents, or open-source contributions in ML/AI
