Job Description
Primary title: Garment Merchandiser
A growth-stage employer operating in the Fashion & Apparel Manufacturing and Retail sector. We develop seasonal ready‑to‑wear and private‑label apparel collections for domestic and international markets, driving product-to-market velocity, margin management and supplier partnerships. This on-site role is based in India and requires hands-on coordination across design, sourcing, production and logistics.

We develop seasonal ready‑to‑wear and private‑label apparel collections for domestic and international markets, driving product-to-market velocity, margin management and supplier partnerships. This on-site role is based in India and requires hands-on coordination across design, sourcing, production and logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan seasonal assortments and convert design direction into production-ready tech packs, BOMs and size charts to meet commercial targets.
- Prepare accurate costing and margin analysis; negotiate prices, lead times and commercial terms with suppliers to optimise profitability.
- Manage end-to-end production lifecycle: place POs, monitor order status, chase pre-production approvals, and ensure on-time shipments.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with design, sourcing, quality and logistics teams to resolve fit, trim and material issues and reduce rework.
- Use PLM/ERP tools and Excel to maintain order trackers, inventory status, shipment schedules and exception reports.
- Implement quality checkpoints and vendor scorecards to uphold product standards and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
