Job Description

API Development & Management

Design, develop, deploy, and manage APIs using Google Apigee.

Implement API proxies, shared flows, API products, developer portals, and security policies.

Define API standards, governance, and lifecycle management processes.

Develop RESTful and SOAP-based services following enterprise architecture standards.

Create API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

Integration Development

Design and implement integrations between cloud and on-premise applications.

Build reusable integration services and API-led connectivity solutions.

Develop data transformation and orchestration workflows.

Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.

Support event-driven architecture and messaging solutions.

Security & Governance

Implement API security using

OAuth 2.0

JWT

API Keys

mTLS

SAML

OpenID Connect

Configure rate limiting, quota management, threat protection, and traffic management policies.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

Conduct API performance tuning and security assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in API development and enterprise integrations.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Apigee (Edge or Apigee X).

Strong understanding of API design principles and REST architecture.

Experience implementing API security and governance frameworks.

Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware concepts.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
