As we continue to develop and scale our HealthTech technology ecosystem, we are looking for an experienced Lead Technical Architect to define and drive end-to-end architecture across mobile, backend, cloud, security, AI, and data platforms.

Role Overview

As the Lead Technical Architect at SEWB Global Care, you will own and drive the architecture vision for scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance technology platforms.

You will be responsible for defining architecture strategies, technical standards, governance models, engineering best practices, and technology roadmaps across mobile applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure, APIs, security, AI integrations, and distributed systems.

This role requires a senior technology leader who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with architecture ownership, strategic thinking, engineering leadership, and stakeholder management.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, QA, and business stakeholders to translate product and organizational objectives into secure, scalable, and future-ready technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end enterprise architecture for scalable distributed platforms using microservices, event-driven systems, APIs, cloud-native patterns, and modern integration frameworks.
• Establish architecture standards, engineering guidelines, reusable frameworks, platform strategies, and technical best practices.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and operational excellence across engineering teams and technology platforms.
• Translate business requirements and product objectives into architecture blueprints, solution designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
• Lead architecture and technical decision-making for backend systems, distributed services, API strategies, messaging platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, caching layers, and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Drive system interoperability and integration strategies across mobile, backend, cloud, data, and third-party technology environments.
• Architect cloud-native solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Define strategies for CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and platform automation.
• Establish secure architecture practices covering authentication, authorization, encryption, API security, IAM, RBAC, OAuth, JWT, and PII protection.
• Support security, privacy, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives appropriate for HealthTech and other regulated technology environments.
• Design highly available, resilient, fault-tolerant, scalable, and low-latency technology systems.
• Establish strategies for performance optimisation, caching, disaster recovery, system reliability, and operational resilience.
• Evaluate and implement enterprise monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting frameworks.
• Architect integrations for AI/ML services, analytics platforms, intelligent automation, and scalable data ecosystems through secure APIs and cloud services.
• Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution design reviews, and technical governance activities.
• Establish and maintain architecture principles, coding standards, quality benchmarks, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, DevOps, Security, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
• Identify technical debt, scalability bottlenecks, operational risks, security concerns, and architectural gaps.
• Drive platform modernisation, technical debt remediation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop proof of concepts, architecture accelerators, reusable components, and reference implementations.
• Maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, governance artifacts, and Architecture Decision Records to support compliance, knowledge sharing, and long-term platform evolution.
• Required Experience

The successful candidate should have:

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in software development, product engineering, mobile application development, or technical architecture.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Technical Architect, Mobile Architect, Solution Architect, or similar architecture leadership role.
• Experience working within HealthTech, Healthcare IT, FinTech, or another regulated technology environment is highly desirable.
• Proven experience designing and leading enterprise-grade, large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience translating business and product requirements into scalable technology architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Experience driving architecture reviews, technical governance, and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and mentor technical leads and developers.
• Experience integrating AI/ML platforms, intelligent systems, analytics, or modern data ecosystems into technology solutions.
