We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Software Development Engineer (SDE) Level 2 to join our dynamic mobile development team. As an Android SDE-2, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work on complex features, contribute to architectural decisions, and help mentor junior team members, ensuring our products are robust, scalable, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, utilise Jetpack Compose to work on UI interface with UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, bugs, and other software defects.
• Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and post-launch support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies (e.g., Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, MVVM/MVI).
• Assist in defining and implementing architectural patterns and design principles for mobile applications.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Android developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure the responsiveness, stability, and security of the applications.
• Integrate with various backend services and third-party APIs.
