Android Developer

Job Description & Responsibilities

• 4.5 -7 years of professional software engineering experience with a frontend-leaning focus, including shipping and supporting production customer-facing applications.
• TypeScript (required) with strong experience building modern UIs using React (web) and
• Android production experience in Kotlin with:
• Jetpack Compose
• MVVM, Coroutines
• Hilt/Dagger
• Room DB

• Experience integrating with REST services, including error handling, retries, and client-side performance considerations.
• Familiarity with enterprise engineering practices:
• Working within defined SDLC processes (planning, implementation, review, testing, release)
• Clear written and verbal communication of status, risks, and dependencies
• Comfort operating within coding standards, review gates, and quality checks
• Demonstrated ability to clarify requirements, reduce ambiguity, and deliver reliably within team processes.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools (specifically Windsurf) to accelerate development, with good judgment around verification and safe usage (Preferred)
