Overview

We are seeking two Data Engineer I to support a major modernization initiative. This role offers hands-on experience, high visibility, and the opportunity to directly impact core enterprise data capabilities. You will help enhance data quality, streamline monthly production cycles, support key data integrations, and contribute to unifying historical and new HH data into a trusted, scalable environment.

This position is ideal for individuals early in their data engineering careers who want deep SQL experience, exposure to modern cloud data tooling, and the ability to learn quickly within a collaborative team.

What You'll Do (First 3–6 Months)

• Run monthly data product refreshes end-to-end using established playbooks and tooling.
• Build foundational knowledge of the data domain and platform.
• Assist with data cleaning, transformation, and validation activities.
• Begin contributing to more complex tasks involving advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake as you gain proficiency.
• Work closely with senior engineers to understand new architecture patterns, data lineage, and environment best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of relational databases.
• Strong data manipulation fundamentals.
• Ability to write SQL (basic required; more advanced SQL is a plus).
• Experience cleaning and transforming structured data.
