Analytics Consultant (SAP SAC & Power BI)

We are looking for a highly motivated Analytics Consultant to design, develop, and manage impactful analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Microsoft Power BI. This role sits at the intersection of business, leadership, and engineering, requiring strong communication and technical capabilities to translate business requirements into actionable dashboards and insights.

You will play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions for customer projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using SAP SAC and Power BI
• Collaborate with business development teams and leadership to understand customer requirements and translate them into analytics solutions
• Work with internal project teams (engineering, product, and delivery) to ensure seamless data integration and visualization
• Build data models and transformations using SQL and Power BI (DAX)
• Ensure dashboards are performance-optimized, scalable, and user-friendly
• Support customer-facing analytics use cases, including demos and solution walkthroughs
• Maintain data accuracy, governance, and consistency across reporting solutions
• Explore and implement AI-driven analytics approaches to enhance insights and automation

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
• Computer Science / Information Technology
• Data Science / Analytics
• Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial – preferred for domain alignment)
• Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
• Master’s degree (MBA, Data Analytics, or related field) is a plus
• Core Technical Skills must include
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
• Solid understanding of Data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), ETL/ELT concepts and Data warehousing principles
• Analytics & Visualization Skills requires expertise in:
• Dashboard design best practices
• KPI definition and business metrics modeling
• Data storytelling and executive reporting
• Ability to create intuitive, user-friendly, and actionable dashboards
• Programming & Data Handling Exposure to:
• Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis
• REST APIs for data ingestion
• JSON/XML data handling
• Industry Tools & Technologies experience with one or more of the following:
• SAP Ecosystem, SAP S/4HANA (especially EAM / Plant Maintenance)
• SAP BTP (integration, data services)
• SAP Datasphere / BW / HANA Cloud
• Microsoft Ecosystem
• Power Query
• Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse
