Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close: journals, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis.
• Own assigned sections of the financial statements and specific Balance Sheet accounts.
• Prepare and maintain complete, audit-ready documentation and workpapers.
• Complete assigned audit deliverables (statutory, tax, TP) and respond to auditor queries.
• Identify and escalate risks or issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Maintain and update trackers, action logs, and follow-ups until closure.
• Support P\&L and Balance Sheet schedules as required.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and support improvements.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• B.Com or PG in Finance with 5–6 years in R2R / GL / Controllership.
• Strong accounting knowledge: exposure to Ind AS is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of India tax & local compliances
• Hands-on expertise in reconciliations, analysis, documentation, and Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and stretch during close/audits.
