AI Software Engineer — Remote
Pluvus
Job Description
Pluvus is building an AI-powered creator marketing platform that automates the entire creator partnership lifecycle, from creator discovery and outreach to negotiation, onboarding, campaign management, content tracking, and payouts.
You'll be responsible for building and improving AI systems that power our platform, including:
- Agentic workflows that can reason, make decisions, and execute actions across multiple steps.
- AI-powered creator sourcing.
- Long-running AI workflows that maintain state and context over time.
- AI-assisted merchant onboarding and campaign configuration.
- Internal tools that help operators review, monitor, and improve AI performance.
We're looking for engineers who have experience building production AI systems.
Ideally, you've worked on several of the following:
- Building agentic products that perform real tasks beyond simple chat interfaces.
- Designing multi-step AI workflows involving reasoning, planning, tool usage, and execution.
- Building AI systems that interact with APIs, external services, and real-world business processes.
- Creating reliable LLM applications that balance speed, cost, and accuracy.
- Managing conversational memory, long-term context, and structured knowledge for AI agents.
- Building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems or other context retrieval pipelines.
- Evaluating AI systems, measuring quality, identifying regressions, and improving prompts or workflows over time.
- Using AI extensively throughout your own development workflow to increase engineering velocity.
- Taking ambiguous product ideas and independently turning them into production-ready features.
More importantly, we're looking for people who naturally:
- Take ownership without waiting for instructions.
- Ship quickly and iterate continuously.
- Break large problems into smaller executable pieces.
- Care about delivering working products rather than perfect prototypes.
- Are curious enough to experiment, learn, and improve independently.
- Think like product builders, not just software engineers.
- Experience working on products in the creator economy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, CRM, or marketing automation space.
- Familiarity with the challenges of creator workflows, campaign management, outreach, or creator relationship management.
This is a fully remote position. Some periods will naturally require greater intensity around launches or major milestones, while others will be more measured. Flexibility and a bias toward execution are important.
This is a paid position. Compensation, equity, responsibilities, and working arrangements are flexible and will be discussed based on your experience, background, and the level of ownership you're able to take.
