Role Description The AI ML Tech Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions, from prototype to production, in close collaboration with engineering and product teams. The AI ML Tech Lead will architect ML pipelines, review code and models, guide model optimization and evaluation, and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards. The role includes mentoring team members, setting technical direction, and promoting best practices in MLOps, experimentation, and documentation. The AI ML Tech Lead will also collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in machine learning and deep learning, including model development, training, evaluation, and optimization for real-world applications.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and modern data science ecosystems.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, and familiarity with software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Background in designing and implementing data pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with deploying and monitoring ML models in production, including MLOps practices, containerization, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to lead technical teams, mentor peers, conduct code and design reviews, and define architecture for AI-powered products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust AI solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
