AI Engineer (Claude & Vibe Coding)

Summary You've been shipping with AI for years and live inside Claude. You'll build and maintain our Claude infrastructure, keep our Skills library sharp, train the team, and ship real work on our WordPress and Next.js sites — primarily by vibe coding through Claude Code rather than writing code by hand.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on AI-assisted coding — shipping real projects through tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Aider, Windsurf, or similar (Claude Code experience since its Feb 2025 launch is a strong plus)
• Deep, current Claude experience — comfortable across the product surface (chat, Projects, Skills, MCP, Claude Code, agents) and able to teach others
• Demonstrated vibe coding track record — live websites, apps, or tools shipped primarily through AI rather than hand-written code
• Strong grasp of how WordPress and Next.js sites are structured, hosted, and deployed (infra, DNS, basic config — not deep coding)
• Skilled at prompting and problem decomposition — knows what to ask, when to course-correct, when to start fresh
• Plugged into the AI space daily — follows model releases, tooling shifts, and agent best practices as they happen

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Skills, prompts, and agent setups used across the team's Claude infrastructure
• Sit with team members regularly to find friction in their Claude workflows, then upgrade the centralized Skills so everyone benefits
• Roll out improvements cleanly — version, document, and communicate changes so the team adopts them
• Set up and maintain core Claude infrastructure (Projects, MCP servers, agent workflows, guardrails)
• Train teammates on Claude best practices and oversee how Claude is used day-to-day
• Build, fix, and ship on our WordPress and Next.js sites using Claude as your primary tool
• Stay current on AI developments and lead the company's adoption of new models, tools, and agentic patterns as they mature

Nice to have

• Track record of leading or coaching a team that uses Claude in production
• WordPress experience (themes, plugins, hosting quirks)
• Experience authoring custom Skills and MCP servers from scratch
• Familiarity with agent orchestration tools (n8n, Zapier, etc.)
• Public artifacts of Claude work — repos, write-ups, demos, or community presence
