Job Title: AI Engineer

Location: Chennai, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, and algorithm development. The role involves building scalable AI pipelines, optimizing model performance, and collaborating with algorithm experts to convert research into production-grade solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Implement and maintain PyTorch-based training and inference pipelines
Develop modular and reusable code for data handling, model serving, and evaluation
Optimize training and inference performance while maintaining accuracy
Improve data transfer efficiency across systems (e.g., Windows ↔ Linux) using gRPC or similar protocols
Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and CI/CD
Support deployment of AI models into production systems or internal tools
Work closely with algorithm experts to convert research models into scalable engineering solutions

Minimum Qualifications

MS/MTech degree with 5+ years of experience in algorithm or AI/ML development
Strong expertise in Python and PyTorch
Solid understanding of software testing, version control, and deployment practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data serialization and communication protocols (gRPC, protobuf, shared memory, etc.)
Familiarity with cross-platform system integration (Windows/Linux)
Strong mathematics foundation (linear algebra, probability, optimization)
